What is TPSS Insulating Glass?

TPSS, the full name is "Thermo Plastic Space Sealant for Insulating Glass Unit". It is an innovative warm edge system for insulating glass.

The system uses special butyl rubber as auxiliary material and thermoplastic spacers filled with molecular sieves to optimize and improve the structure of insulating glass.

TPSS sealant is a reactive thermoplastic spacer sealant. It is added with raw materials containing reactive hydroxyl groups and can undergo cross-linking reactions with external silicone structural adhesives and glass. If no catalyst is added, a complete reaction will take 6 months, then the subsequent reaction will be very small. Only after the complete cross-linking reaction will the insulating glass become a complete and firm sealed cavity, the TPSS strip will no longer fall off, and the superior performance of the product can be fully reflected.
